CPR Regeneration is working in partnership with Western United Mines, Cornwall Council and the South West Regional Development Agency to establish a development framework for a strategically important area of land in central Pool. The Framework has been shown at a public exhibition and is available on this site.
This framework plan will set the context for key regeneration projects such as the new mining proposal, the East West link and Dudnance Lane widening, new office development at East Hill and strategic green space. Land uses are indicated which would permit the development of future commercial, leisure and housing projects in particular areas. This framework plan is a further development of the original Dudnance Lane Implementation Plan.
Following this consultation the framework plan will be amended as necessary and a full record of stakeholder and community comments compiled. The framework and report has been submitted to Cornwall Council with a request for it to be formally approved as a planning document to support the Area Action Plan.
Connected projects:
Phase 1 of the highway scheme [including Dudnance Lane widening has been granted planning permission].
Phase 2 of the highway scheme [East West link form Dudnance Lane to Dolcoath has been gratned planning permission].
