Halcrow was commissioned by the South West Regional Development Agency and CPR Regeneration in April 2008 to set out an action plan to implement the Surface Water Management Plan for Camborne, Pool and Redruth.
The Surface Water Management Plan details several underlying principles for the future surface water drainage within the CPR area. Future drainage should seek to:
Future development should, wherever practical, seek to meet these principles and where not considered practical, should justify why an alternative approach has been adopted.
The full Halcrow report covers both a review of the Surface Water Management Plan and highlights what needs to be done next to put into practice the proposals based on current legislation and best practice guidance.
In addition, a summary guidance for developers has been included to provide a quick point of reference. To identify which data sheet to download please refer to the location plan.
The full report and its appendices is also available for download. Appendix I, which contains the drawings of the sub-catchment areas and the sewer capacity plans, consists of extremely large files, but copies can be obtained by contacting CPR Regeneration. Please email Trevor Goff at tg@cprregeneration.co.uk if you would like to receive the drawings on disc.
